Before being permitted to bid at the sale, bidders shall display to the IRS proof that they are able to comply with this requirement. No bids will be received from any person(s) who have not presented proof that, if they are the successful bidder(s), they can make the payment required by the order of sale. The balance of the sale price shall be tendered to the IRS Property Appraisal and Liquidation Specialist by certified funds, payable to “Clerk, United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida”, no later than thirty (30) days following the date of sale. If the bidder fails to fulfill this requirement, the deposit shall be forfeited and applied to cover the expenses of the sale, with any amount remaining to be applied to the outstanding tax liability and the subject property will be re-offered for sale under the terms and conditions of the order. The sale of the subject property shall not be final until confirmed by the Federal District Court. Upon confirmation of the sale, the interests of, liens against, or claims to the subject property held or asserted by the United States and any other parties to this action shall be discharged and extinguished and the IRS shall execute and deliver a deed conveying the subject property to the purchaser(s) thereof. Redemption rights under state law shall not apply to this sale under federal law. The successful bidder at the sale shall pay, in addition to the amount of the bid, any documentary stamps and Clerk’s registry fees as provided by law.
