Bookcase

Consisting of sliding wood doors, stylistically similar bookcases appear in early photographs of Treasury executive offices during the first decades of the 20th century. Constructed in mahogany, the bookcase has been attributed to the Treasury Cabinet Shop. The shop produced furniture during the late 19th and early 20th centuries for Treasury offices in a style in keeping with this bookcase.
