Paul W. Curry
Asian Development Bank Alternate U.S. Executive Director
Paul W. Curry was appointed as the U.S. Alternate Executive Director for the Asian Development Bank (ADB).
Prior to his work at the ADB, Mr. Curry served as the Executive Secretary of the U.S. Department of the Treasury from January 2004 to December 2005. In that position he was responsible for coordinating the Department-wide review and analysis of policy initiatives, regulations, testimony, memoranda, reports, briefing materials, and correspondence, for the Secretary and Deputy Secretary. He also assisted in managing the day-to-day operations of the Department and the Secretary’s office.
From 2001 until 2003 Mr. Curry held a number of positions in the Office of the Executive Secretary. Mr. Curry previously worked at the Republican National Committee in 2000 and from 1997-2000 he worked for Senator Strom Thurmond on the U.S. Senate Committee on the Judiciary.
Mr. Curry is a native of Clearwater, Florida. He received a B.S. in Marketing from Clemson University in 1993, and a M.A. in History from Clemson University in 1996.
In 2000 he received a J.D. from the Columbus School of Law at The Catholic University of America.
