Dam on Hill to discuss terrorist financing, money laundering, and the USA Patriot Act

Today at 9:30 am, Deputy Treasury Secretary Ken Dam testified before Chairman Sarbanes, Senator Gramm, and the Senate Committee on Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs.   Dam’s remarks before the Congressional panel focused on three areas:  our progress in the financial front of the war on terrorism; the 2002 National Money Laundering Strategy more generally; and implementation of the USA PATRIOT Act.
